i took a half day today. i had some time to use up and wanted to get a head start on my holiday cookie baking. i strolled leisurely to the grocery store and came home to get started. i had settled on mini loaves of this, and they were looking great!
until i took them out, placed them on the stove, and turned around to grab my cake tester.
then this happened:
and instead of cleaning, i grabbed my iphone to snap a pic. things like this dont happen too often. i guess i was due.
now they are staring at me.
please help!

oh no, Allison! That’s such a bummer! I’m seeing this too late to probably offer any help, because they’ve cooled by now, but I was wondering if while they were warm you could try to press them into ball shapes and then dip into some sort of frosting.
